The role of Senior Sales Manager has responsibility for the commercial success of our distribution & manufacturing facility in Cork, which represents our brands K Rend, K Lime, K Systems and K Landscapes. You will develop and execute sales plans to drive growth and improve margins and as the most senior team member on site, you will also have operational responsibility for the business.

This is a pivotal role with a predominantly commercial focus in a high potential business. As a senior member of the team, local operations including sales support functions will fall under your governance. The role requires energy and ambition to develop our capability and grow the business. As a critical member of the management team, you will collaborate with the senior leadership team at HQ (Kilwaughter) to drive performance and influence business direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for health, safety and well-being and to deliver a safety-first culture
  • Oversee the daily operations of our business unit to include sales, marketing, distribution and operations
  • Deliver timely and accurate information and interpretation to guide and support business decision making
  • Provide leadership to the team to create a performance culture by coaching and mentoring to enhance overall team effectiveness
  • Take responsibility for developing the Sales budget, set and agree targets in conjunction with sales leadership and report analysis, performance and progress accordingly
  • Proactively manage all product pricing in conjunction with Finance function to ensure positive margin growth
  • Ensure the team culture and our execution is delivering an excellent level of customer service
  • Deliver growth by developing existing business and gaining new business that materially improve performance
  • Develop and maintain systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective management of the site and that support a culture of Continuous Improvement.
  • Call on support for operational performance from HQ in a proactive and timely fashion
  • Work closely with the marketing function in HQ to devise impactful marketing plans that develop the Brand and grow the business, whilst having deep market intimacy to develop informed strategic priorities that maximise our differentiation
  • Be an ambassador for the company values and at the forefront of a culture of continuous improvement
  • Influence and challenge and develop others where there is opportunity to make the right action happen as required
  • Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders in Cork, RoI & HQ


Job Title: Senior Commercial Manager





  • Educated to graduate level or equivalent


  • A minimum of 5 years leadership with demonstrable focus on sustained commercial growth
  • Evidence of commercial strategy development, execution and success
  • Evidence of sales pipeline management and expertise
  • Experience leading and implementing change
  • Experience in managing operations of a business unit

  • Able to work flexible hours as required and to travel as required to ensure business needs are met
