Kilwaughter Holdings has been included in a list of Northern Ireland’s best performing businesses with a ranking in the highly-anticipated Belfast Telegraph Top 100 Companies 2022. Compiled annually, the prestigious list seeks to recognise the success enjoyed by organisations across Northern Ireland.

Gary Wilmot, CEO at Kilwaughter Minerals commented:

“As a leading manufacturer and supplier to the construction and agriculture industries across the UK and Ireland, we are extremely proud to have been ranked in the 2022 Top 100 list.

“This position, as one of Northern Ireland’s top-performing businesses reflects a hugely positive year for Kilwaughter, which has continued to perform well against a difficult backdrop of challenging trading conditions and the coronavirus pandemic.

“We’re committed to setting the standards for innovation, customer experience and customer service in our industries and we have long term investment plans to ensure our journey builds momentum.

“This commitment, combined with the resilience and dedication shown by our team, has allowed us to build Kilwaughter’s reputation as a high value supplier and we look forward to continuing to provide exceptional service to our core industries.”

In January of this year, Kilwaughter announced a £500,000 capital investment, delivering a new 400 sq m warehouse and blending plant facility in response to increased demand for their products.

Meanwhile, ongoing recruitment has seen staff numbers eclipse 200 while the headcount of the company’s research and development department has grown by 50% as part of a long-term £3.4m investment programme in innovation.

Gary continued:

“I would like to thank everyone in our team and partners who have worked so hard to ensure Kilwaughter’s continued success and extend my congratulations to the other companies recognised as part of the Top 100.”
